Our 8th grade students brought history to life today as they learned about the United States Constitution! After discussing the importance of this foundational document, students made their own quills from turkey feathers and used them to practice writing and signing their names.

This hands-on activity gave students a fun way to connect with history and imagine what it may have been like to write and sign important documents using the tools available during the time of the Founding Fathers.

It was a fun and memorable day of learning for our 8th graders! 🪶
