Recently, a letter regarding updates to our cafeteria visitor procedures was sent home with students in their folders/backpacks. If you have not had a chance to read it, please check your child's folder or backpack for a copy of Lunchroom Policy Change.
As a reminder, visitors are still welcome and encouraged to join their child for breakfast and lunch. The only change is that visitors and their child will sit at a designated visitor table rather than within the general student seating areas.
The purpose of this change is simple: to limit unnecessary interactions between students and adults who are not their parent or guardian while maintaining consistent supervision and safety practices for all students. Therefore, all visitors will follow the same procedure, regardless of background check status.
This adjustment helps us maintain consistent supervision and safety practices for all students while continuing to welcome families into our school. Thank you for your understanding, support, and partnership in making Allons Elementary School a safe and positive place for every child.
