Our second grade students enjoyed a fun and educational field trip to the Muddy Pond community today! Students had the opportunity to watch a sorghum harvesting and boiling demonstration, learn about the traditional process of making sorghum, and sample this sweet treat. 

During their visit, students also explored and shopped at the General Store, enjoyed time playing together, and shared a picnic lunch. It was a wonderful day filled with hands-on learning, new experiences, and fun memories!
