Overton County Schools are offering a four-day Link to CTE Career Exploration Camp on Monday, June 23rd-26th for Rising 6th-9th graders. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided daily at no cost for the camp. Parents or Guardians will need to bring their student to the new LEAD Building next to LA each morning at 7:30 AM for drop off and return for pick up at 2:30PM. Overton County Schools will host the Junior Wildcats Middle School Softball tryouts this week at the Livingston Academy softball field. Seventh and eighth grade girls will try out for varsity on June 12, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30. Fifth and sixth grade girls, tryouts will be held for the junior varsity on June 13, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30. All participants should bring a copy of an up to date physical.
Overton County Schools is launching a new virtual learning program option for home schooled students. The program is at no cost to parents, offers a flexible schedule, and high-quality materials. There will be no school on Friday, April 18 or Monday, April 21 for the Easter holiday.
Mrs. Goolsby will do a daily prize drawing for students who are on time and complete the test for that day. We will also do a daily prize for students who teachers want to recognize for working hard and giving their best effort. Prizes might be gift cards, cash, coffee from Hawks Java, or other items!

the local EMS team has notified the district early this morning concerning the bad weather coming through tonight and the potential for flooding. With some districts closing today, we have received permission form the state to have virtual day tomorrow IF needed. Teachers have sent home assignments this afternoon just in case.
